What did Jesus pray
and ask the Father regarding future believers oneness with God? That we would
be one with God like Christ and God are one in each other
John 17:21
Jesus also prayed that believers would have perfect and complete unity with each other; so that we would be one just as Christ and the Father are one, that the world would know that God sent Jesus and that He calls them, and that we would be set a part - the world will see Christ in us
Echad is the Hebrew
word for 'one' - God makes, and sees, the husband and wife as one, no longer
two
The Trinity is one,
the Lord is one
The Trinity is the
model relationship for believers to follow.

The Trinity is the
perfect example of a perfect relationship, we should strive to be like the
Trinity in our relationship
Questions you should
stop asking yourself, and questions you should start asking yourself -
Stop Asking
|
Start Asking
|
What will it do
for me
|
How can we glorify
God
|
What will I get
out of it
|
How can we walk in
a pleasing manner with God
|
How will it meet
my needs
|
We are no longer to
live for self, but for Christ who died and rose again on my behalf
We should
communicate in love, sharing thoughts, present and future desires, aspirations,
goals, struggles, and spiritual insights, being open, honest and transparent
with one another.
Memory Verse -
But seek ye first
the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added
unto you - Matthew 6:33

And the glory which
thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I

me. - John 17:22-23

thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his
house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have
drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass,

hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: -
Daniel 5:23
For whom he did
foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,

therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God. - Romans 12:1-2

all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto

is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to

discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his
